Job Brief:The 3D Designer Coordinator will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing processes for both new and existing products using Autodesk Inventor. The role requires strong expertise in sheet metal fabrication, BOM preparation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:- Carry out the design and development of manufacturing processes using Autodesk Inventor.
- Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, and manuals to evaluate feasibility and cost.
- Create and interpret 3D models and drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and finishes.
- Prepare design presentations with specification sheets for internal and client reviews.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Standardize recurring items, maintain design archives, and support Autodesk Vault maintenance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in design, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Coordinate with internal teams across different locations.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to strengthen business relationships.
- Occasionally travel locally and internationally for training or project requirements.
