Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and budgeting.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and budget vs. actual performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems, leveraging technology to streamline accounting processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all taxation requirements including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable taxes.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with departmental heads to gather input and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and ensuring timely payment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
Job Requirements:
  • 2+ years of proven experience as an Accountant in Riyadh, with a deep understanding of local accounting practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages, with the ability to effectively communicate across various levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Word for financial analysis and reporting. Experience with ERP systems is essential.
  • Capable of working autonomously, demonstrating initiative, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Uphold principles of integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possesses well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.
  • The employee is responsible for paying their GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) contribution.
