Job Brief:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of IFRS standards and hands-on experience in trading and leasing businesses. The candidate should be proficient in Oracle ERP Accounts and Finance Applications and possess excellent accounting expertise. Gulf experience is mandatory, and candidates with experience in large conglomerates will be highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial operations and accounting activities of the trading and leasing divisions.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies.
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring proper financial planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and perform reconciliations regularly.
  • Implement and manage Oracle ERP financial modules for accounting and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory filings in compliance with UAE laws.
  • Collaborate with auditors and ensure successful completion of annual audits.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data and recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures.
Job Requirements:
  • Education Certificate: Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in trading and leasing businesses is mandatory.
  • Gulf experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP Accounts and Finance Applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in large group companies is highly preferred.
