Job Brief:
The Assistant Manager - Corporate Finance will support the Corporate Finance Controller in overseeing financial functions across the Group, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and contributing to financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other management reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of combined/consolidated financial statements and other group reports.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations prepared by the Finance Manager of each subsidiary.
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Improve the financial reporting process through report automation (i.e., SAP Reports, Power BI).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports and ensure completion as per stipulated timeline.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Assist in cost analysis and financial risk assessment.
  • Work closely with various departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for financial efficiency and cost optimization.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • ERP Software Experience: SAP, Power BI
  • Nationality Preference: Europeans / South Africans
