Assistant Technical Design Manager

Working Days: Monday - Friday (be present as needed to meet deadlines)
Work Timings: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (can be extended based on overseas meetings)

Job Responsibilities:

• Vast experience in aluminum façade systems.
• Assist in managing and coordinating technical projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Support the Technical Manager in supervising technical teams and allocating resources.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing technical issues or risks.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other technical staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of technical strategies and solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Conduct quality assurance and control to maintain high technical standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of logic, rivet, or inventor would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic structural analysis will be added score.
• Coordination between supplier and design team to deliver the products as requested by the client.

Job Requirements:

• B.Sc. or higher in Civil/Architectural Engineering.
• 15 years of experience mainly in the aluminum and glass industry.
• Knowledge of Unitized, Semi Unitized, and Stick systems.
• Knowledge of shop drawings, material takeoff, die drawings & fabrication drawings is a must.
• Ability to check material take-off, glass cutting lists, and aluminum & steel cutting & assembly lists.
• Can supervise a team of 8-10 persons.
• Ability to plan, assign, and monitor the work of a technical team to meet deadlines.
• Male candidates are preferred.
• Age: 35 – 45 years.
• Software: AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Rivet, Logikal and Inventor (Mandate).
• Ability to manage a team of designers.
• Ability to review and provide feedback on all drawings and make necessary adjustments as required.
• Experience with managing projects, scheduling, and assigning tasks to designs.
• Strong technical knowledge of design in Aluminum Façade.
