Job Brief: We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects within a manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contractors, ensuring compliance with structural and sustainability standards, and ensuring timely delivery of the project within budget. The role involves extensive coordination with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage, design, develop, and maintain construction projects from small to large scale in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, procurement strategies, and resource allocations.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
- Conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, and carry out technical and feasibility studies.
- Evaluate and select contractors based on qualification, cost-effectiveness, and project needs.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, including milestones, budgets, and risks.
- Monitor project completion, prepare progress reports, and ensure all project milestones are reported and documented.
- Resolve project issues creatively and promptly while ensuring all works are compliant with safety regulations and technical standards.
- Manage project budgets, purchase equipment/materials, and control costs by managing change orders and procurement processes.
- Oversee quality control and certify quality of materials and workmanship.
- Coordinate procurement processes, including bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Liaise with RAKEZ technical department and other authorities to ensure timely approvals and inspections.
- Ensure proper documentation for permits, technical files, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain market awareness of construction material prices and procurement trends.
- Certify contractor invoices and ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff while maintaining high construction and safety standards.
