Job Brief:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in commercial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize electrical controls and components for advanced cooling technologies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot electrical control systems integrated into commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality within budget and project scope.
  • Conduct energy consumption tests for commercial refrigeration units to ensure compliance with international standards and quality requirements.
  • Commission, troubleshoot, and repair the company’s installed refrigeration products on-site, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Innovate, build, and test new refrigeration solutions to meet evolving industry needs.
  • Carry out building maintenance tasks to maintain a safe, secure, and efficient working environment.
  • Work in a refrigeration testing lab, combining desk-based tasks with hands-on setup and experimentation in workshops and laboratories.
  • Participate in project site activities, with the flexibility to work weekends and evening hours as per project deadlines.
  • Utilize machine tool equipment for hands-on electrical engineering tasks.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the design, troubleshooting, and programming of electrical and logic control systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Schneider Electric (primary), Siemens, Allen Bradley, and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • A degree or professional experience in HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with machine tool equipment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on project sites as needed.
