Job Brief:The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our client’s operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, preferably in mechanical engineering, and significant experience working within the Saudi market. This role requires a strategic leader who is well-versed in local laws, has strong connections with MEP contractors and consultants, and possesses a solid understanding of financial statements.
Job Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Saudi operations in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop business plans to expand market presence.
Operational Management:- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and manage operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Financial Oversight:- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze financial statements to make informed business decisions.
- Ensure financial performance meets or exceeds established targets.
Compliance and Legal:- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Handle all legal matters related to the company's operations in Saudi Arabia.
Business Development:- Establish and maintain strong relationships with MEP contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive business development initiatives and secure new contracts and projects.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Team Leadership:- Lead, mentor, and develop the local team to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs.
Customer Relationship Management:- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly.
