Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Develop and post job descriptions for vacant positions.
  • Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates.
  • Coordinate with management for final selection and hiring approval.
  • Conduct background checks and verify references.
  • Prepare and issue job offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Ensure new employees complete pre-employment medical tests.
  • Facilitate visa processing, labor contract issuance, and Emirates ID registration.
  • Conduct employee orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Set up HR files and records for new employees, ensuring compliance with CBUAE.
Employee Records & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records, including passport copies, visas, and labor contracts.
  • Ensure employee files are organized and meet CBUAE regulatory requirements.
  • Track and update employee work permits, visas, and Emirates IDs before expiration.
  • Maintain digital and physical copies of all employee-related documents.
  • Handle document requests, such as salary certificates and NOCs.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary payments and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements.
  • Maintain records of attendance, overtime, and leaves for payroll processing.
  • Process annual leave salaries and end-of-service benefits as per UAE labor law.
  • Handle employee benefits, including health insurance, bonuses, and allowances.
Employee Attendance & Leave Management
  • Track and monitor employee attendance, ensuring punctuality compliance.
  • Maintain records of all leaves (annual, sick, emergency, unpaid, etc.).
  • Process leave requests and ensure proper handover before approval.
  • Manage return-to-work procedures after extended leaves.
Compliance with UAE Labor Laws & CBUAE Regulations
  • Ensure all HR policies align with UAE Labor Law
  • Stay updated with CBUAE Circulars & HR regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure employment contracts and policies meet CBUAE anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Conduct compliance training for employees on HR-related regulatory changes.
  • Handle employee disputes and terminations in accordance with UAE law.
Training & Development
  • Identify training needs and develop a yearly training plan.
  • Organize AML/CFT compliance training, as per CBUAE directives.
  • Coordinate with external trainers for advanced employee development programs.
  • Maintain training records and ensure employees complete mandatory AML/CFT training.
Performance Management & Employee Engagement
  • Develop and implement a performance appraisal system.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Work with managers to set performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperforming staff.
  • Handle employee engagement programs to boost morale and retention.
  • Recognize and reward high-performing employees through incentives.
Disciplinary Actions & Grievance Handling
  • Investigate employee misconduct, including attendance violations and policy breaches.
  • Issue verbal and written warnings as per company policy.
  • Conduct disciplinary hearings and document outcomes.
  • Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts fairly.
  • Ensure all disciplinary actions comply with UAE Labor Law and CBUAE HR guidelines.
Offboarding & Exit Procedures
  • Process resignations and terminations following UAE labor regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and collect feedback from departing employees.
  • Ensure proper clearance of company assets (uniforms, IT equipment, etc.).
  • Process final settlements, including gratuity payments, in compliance with CBUAE and UAE labor laws.
  • Cancel work permits, visas, and Emirates ID upon exit.
HR Policy Development & Implementation
  • Develop and update the company HR Manual & Employee Handbook.
  • Ensure all policies are in line with the CBUAE HR regulatory framework.
  • Regularly review policies and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate HR policies to employees and provide necessary training.
Health, Safety & Workplace Compliance
  • Ensure workplace safety policies comply with UAE health and safety laws.
  • Conduct CBUAE-mandated health & safety training.
  • Monitor and report workplace incidents or injuries.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
CBUAE-Specific HR Compliance & Audits
  • Prepare for CBUAE HR audits and ensure compliance with their findings.
  • Respond to requests for employee documentation from CBUAE and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure AML/CFT compliance for employees by verifying backgrounds and qualifications.
  • Maintain records of employee training and compliance certifications for CBUAE inspections.
Visa & PRO (Public Relations Officer) Coordination
  • Coordinate visa applications, renewals, and cancellations with the PRO.
  • Ensure all employees hold valid visas and Emirates IDs.
  • Track employee visa expiration dates and initiate renewal processes.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization (MOHRE) and CBUAE for labor approvals.
Diversity, Inclusion & Workplace Ethics
  • Ensure a discrimination-free workplace in compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Promote an inclusive work environment respecting different cultures.
  • Implement workplace ethics and anti-harassment policies.
HR Technology & Data Management
  • Maintain and update HR systems and databases.
  • Ensure HR software is compliant with CBUAE data protection regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and secure personal data.
Other Administrative Responsibilities
  • Handle company-wide announcements and internal communications.
  • Ensure smooth HR operations while managing HR duties within a 10-hour workday.
  • Recommend improvements for HR efficiency and compliance.

Job Requirements:
  • Must possess HR experience within the banking or exchange house industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour law.
  • Excellent understanding of the Central Bank of UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant field.
  • Male candidates are required for this role.
  • Age: Under 40 years.
  • Nationality preference: Lebanese, Sri Lankan, Jordanian, Palestinian, Indian, etc.
