IT Officer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Implementation of Ramco ERP.
  • Ensure smooth running of all the local servers, desktop & laptop systems, printers, network & internet in Dubai Factory and depo.
  • Onsite administrator for the Domain controller, Active directory and other IT & network security systems. (Sonic Wall, CCTV, Attendance system, canteen management system etc.)
  • Install and configure new systems, printers and other IT hardware and software.
  • Timely upgrades of hardware and software systems, ensure all the security application and antivirus running in all user PCs.
  • Researching new systems, up gradation of existing Hardware & software/ installation of consumables and accessories.
  • Ensure the security of data from internal and external attack and prevent data leakage.
  • Manage the crisis situations, which may involve technical hardware or software problems.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies/ online update of operating systems and applications.
  • Maintenance of in-house applications and database in order to support different departments on their activities.
  • Ensure smooth running of all telephone, EPBX and voice systems and inter connectivity.
  • Receive internal IT issues from all the users from Factory and Dubai Depo, troubleshoot the issues, escalate to Service provider, HO IT or RAMCO team as per the nature of issue.
  • Register user IT issues and requirements in ticketing system and timely close the issue with in SLA.
  • Periodic review IT issues and do the preventive actions.
  • Onsite support on RAMCO issues and requirement from local users and help to create tickets and co-ordinate with IT Manager and Central IT helpdesk to resolve the issues.
  • Maintain IT Assets - Tag all IT assets with Asset number and label it properly, update the specification in master list. Maintain network diagram for Factory and depo updated.
  • Support local IT and central IT for the procurement process and installation of new systems.
  • Support to test new features in RAMCO and other applications, provide UAT feedback.
  • Maintain and update proper DRP for Factory and Depo IT.
  • Extended support to Main office, regional office and other depos as and when required.
  • Support for MIS reporting and other reports.
  • Support for periodic activities (stock take, asset count etc.).
  • Support for master creations (customer master, vendor master, account block/unblock etc.) on absence of IT officer.
  • Maintaining System Hygiene.
  • Drive the IT projects assigned by local and central IT.
  • Other roles and responsibilities assigned by management as per requirement.

Job Requirements:
  • Generalist IT experience for at least 4 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or MCA.
  • IT related certifications/degree.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Ramco ERP, Ramco Tool iEDK, and Reporting tool RAMCO.
  • Written as well as spoken communication skills (English).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasking and organization skills.
