Job Brief:
Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Junior Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist in evaluating and enhancing our internal controls, financial processes, and compliance within the real estate and property management sectors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Audit Execution: Conduct full audit cycles, including risk management and control assessments, to ensure operational effectiveness and financial reliability.
  • Documentation Review: Evaluate accounting records, reports, and data flowcharts to document audit results accurately.
  • Risk Identification: Identify potential financial and operational loopholes, recommending effective risk mitigation measures and cost-saving strategies.
  • Compliance Assurance: Perform audits in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and ensure adherence to applicable directives and professional auditing standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements to pinpoint audit-related issues and areas for improvement.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing and maintaining internal audit plans and manuals.
  • Follow-Up Audits: Assess the implementation status of management action plans and conduct follow-up reviews as necessary.
  • Special Assignments: Undertake special internal audit assignments and address ad-hoc requests promptly.
  • Operational Checks: Verify daily transactions, including bank deposits, payment vouchers, and ensure the accuracy of Ejari contract details.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review and update operational policies in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance directives, and ensure VAT compliance per the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
  • System Implementation: Assist in implementing corporate tax compliance systems and recommend software updates in line with evolving laws and regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly account closures and deliver comprehensive reports to management.
Job Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of internal auditing experience, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of IFRS, UAE financial regulations, and professional auditing standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with VAT compliance, corporate tax, and AML regulations specific to the UAE.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in audit and accounting software applications.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
