Job Brief:
Our client, a leading company in the Trading sector, is looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to handle end-to-end logistics, including store and inventory management, import/export documentation, freight coordination, and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both logistics and procurement, with a solid understanding of INCO terms and UAE trade practices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & Store Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, ensure proper storage, and oversee inventory control to optimize operations.
  • Import & Export Documentation: Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
  • INCO Terms Compliance: Apply the correct INCO terms in trade transactions to ensure cost-effective and efficient shipping processes.
  • Freight Logistics Coordination: Work closely with freight forwarders, transport companies, and customs authorities to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
  • Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, and customs officials for smooth import/export operations.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in managing procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely availability of goods.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with UAE trade and customs regulations.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of logistics experience, with at least 2 years in inventory/store management.
  • Prior work experience in the UAE is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, transportation, and customs clearance procedures.
  • Proven experience in handling import/export documentation and processes.
  • Solid knowledge of INCO terms and their application in international trade.
  • Experience in procurement and coordinating with suppliers to manage purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field is required. Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Nationality: Indian.
