Job Brief:The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies and ensuring consistent communication both internally and externally. This position is vital in maintaining the company’s brand presence across various channels and assisting in the coordination of marketing efforts that drive business growth. This role involves coordinating marketing campaigns, managing content creation, and assisting with public relations efforts.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in the development, writing, and editing of marketing content, including blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and press releases.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely and consistent content distribution across all platforms.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital campaigns, using analytics tools to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate updates and maintenance of the company’s website and social media platforms.
- Events and Trade Shows: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, vendor management, and event promotion.
- Press Release Coordination: Create and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries.
- Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, outlets, journalists, and magazines.
- B2B Social Media and Email Marketing: Manage B2B social media accounts and create engaging content. Develop and execute B2B email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp. Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
- SEO/SEM: Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and user experience.
- Cross-functional communications: Facilitate effective communication between marketing and other departments.
- Assist in analyzing market data to identify opportunities for new marketing initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for the marketing team.
- Maintain and organize marketing files, databases, and promotional materials.
- Maintain the confidentiality of the department’s activity.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills in both languages.
- Working Knowledge of MS Office & MIS systems.
- Strong background in graphic design, event management, PR, media relations, and writing editorial content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Experience with B2B social media management and email marketing platforms like MailChimp.
