Job Brief:
We are looking for an Optical Scanning Engineer with a strong background in 3D optical scanning and reverse engineering for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced 3D scanning tools and be proficient in scan data handling, photogrammetry, and scan analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct 3D optical scanning using tools such as Creaform, GOM, and Zeiss scanners.
Work with .STL files and scan data using GOM Inspect, Geomagic, and CATIA RE2.
Perform vehicle teardown and prepare components for scanning.
Handle photogrammetry tasks for vehicles, parts, and manikins.
Create VCS and hardpoints from scan data.
Operate on the shop floor for scanning activities, ensuring data accuracy.

Job Requirements:

1 to 6 years of experience in automotive benchmarking and reverse engineering.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong understanding of reverse engineering and 3D optical scanning.
Experience in scan data interpretation, analysis, and photogrammetry.
Familiarity with shop floor practices and scan preparation techniques.
Basic working knowledge of CATIA RE2 is a plus.
