Procurement Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers.
Evaluate suppliers based on products, services, and prices.
Negotiate with suppliers both (International & Local) about contracts/agreements for purchasing of materials.
Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery, schedule, and quality.
Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on‐time deliveries of final product.
Source and investigate potential suppliers and recommend suitable ones for projects or existing products.
Perform RFQ and total cost analysis.
Work with key suppliers to help improve their performance, competitiveness, and capabilities.

Job Requirements:

4+ years of experience in hardcore procurement (significantly in MEP buying).
Excellent knowledge of engineering and MEP Products.
Diploma / B‐TECH / B.E – Mechanical.
Ability to converse with overseas suppliers as they are currently dealing with European countries.
Ability to analyze BOQ and drawings to understand key engineering requirements.
Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating with suppliers.
Experience in preparing costing based on BOQ.
Highly motivated, self‐starter, highly disciplined, clear thinker.
Should be a multitasker and systematic person.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
Stability: has worked for a longer period in a company.
Language preference: English and Hindi / Malayalam.
