Job Brief:Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of all products and raw materials. The ideal candidate will have a holistic approach to procurement, ensuring cost optimization, supplier performance, risk management, and internal stakeholder satisfaction. This role requires strong strategic sourcing skills, contract negotiation expertise, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:Procurement Performance & Cost Optimization- Ensure on-time execution with ≥ 95% of purchase orders (POs) released within Service Level Agreement (SLA); maintain a cycle time ≤ 2 working days.
- Achieve annual cost savings of ≥ [X]% year-over-year through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Maintain a forecast accuracy and purchase requisition (PR) fulfillment rate of ≥ 98%, with ≤ 2% variance from forecast.
Supplier Performance & Risk Management- Ensure ≥ 95% of Tier 1 suppliers comply with quality and service SLAs.
- Guarantee 100% contract coverage for high-value or strategic purchases.
- Resolve 100% of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and escalated disputes within SLA (≤ 7 working days).
- Conduct periodic supplier assessments to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Develop and implement supplier risk mitigation strategies.
Data, Systems & Reporting- Maintain ≥ 99% accuracy in procurement records, contracts, and pricing data.
- Ensure 100% timely submission of procurement dashboards, supplier reviews, and reports.
- Drive continuous process improvement by implementing a minimum of two major initiatives per year.
- Utilize procurement software to streamline operations and enhance decision-making.
Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Satisfaction- Achieve a stakeholder satisfaction score of ≥ 90% from cross-functional teams.
- Ensure ≥ 95% of internal procurement requests are fulfilled within defined SLAs.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring ≥ 80% of direct reports meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Collaborate with Research & Development (R&D) and product development teams to support new product sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Provide guidance on procurement best practices and compliance with company policies.
