Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Engineer to handle tender documents and quotations related to the coating of steel pipes. The role involves technical, contractual, and production planning reviews, ensuring accuracy in bid preparation and compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review tender documents/invitations to quote for coating of steel pipes.
  • Conduct a thorough review of specifications, contractual terms, and production feasibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to establish accurate pricing and planning.
  • Liaise with Managers, Coordinators, and Superintendents to ensure project feasibility and compliance.
  • Obtain clarifications and amendments from clients regarding tender/contract documents.
  • Prepare and submit tender bids for approval, including facilitating necessary financial approvals.
  • Supply relevant Managers with all project details and facilitate bid review meetings.
  • Manage bid workload and oversee the bidding team in the absence of the Regional Sales & BD Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating bid cost templates.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHAD standards.
  • Report incidents/near misses and provide feedback on health, safety, and environmental improvements.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Industry experience related to oil & gas and coating solutions.
  • Good understanding of the oil & gas market.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress effectively.
  • Experience in technical proposal creation.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency preferred.
