Job Purpose:The QA/QC Officer is responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that joinery projects meet industry standards and client specifications. This role involves monitoring production quality, conducting inspections, and collaborating with the technical team to improve quality practices and standards.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and standards for all joinery projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review project specifications and technical drawings to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor production processes and provide guidance to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Document and report any non-conformances, implementing corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with the project and technical teams to improve quality control practices and minimize defects.
- Conduct training sessions to promote quality awareness and ensure team members understand quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and project documentation.
- Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry standards, new technologies, and best practices to enhance quality control processes.
