Job Brief:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development of extruded food technology solutions across the Middle East region. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and developing effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment and a proven track record in sales within the industry.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets for the Extruded Food Technologies business unit.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to develop sales strategies.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance on extruded food processing solutions.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and service departments, for successful project execution.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Travel extensively within the sales territory to develop customer relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare market reports and develop business strategies with the product team and business unit sales management.
  • Stay updated on product and process advancements.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry networking events.
  • Manage CRM systems, ensuring project pipeline, customer interactions, and sales campaign activities are up to date.
  • Review RFQs, qualify customer requirements, and collaborate with product and area sales managers to present accurate proposals.
  • Gather market intelligence on pricing and customer expectations to inform pricing strategies.
  • Conduct technical and sales presentations to customers.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, including terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Utilize customer feedback to support product development and innovation.
  • Develop value-based selling propositions and enhance value-selling skills.
Extruded Food Technologies Products:
The role involves promoting / selling a range of extruded food technology solutions, including:
  • Single-Screw Cooking Extruders: Designed to transform various raw materials into high-value products.
  • Single-Screw Forming Extruders: Used for shaping a wide range of food products.
  • Twin-Screw Cooking Extruders: Offering enhanced cooking capacity and versatility, capable of producing cereal-based snack pellets, breakfast cereals, dry pet food, and other extruded food products.
  • High-Capacity Extruders: Advanced models providing increased capacity while maintaining efficiency and product quality.
  • Pasta and Snack Extruders: Used for producing short-cut pasta, sheet pasta, and lasagna with varying capacities.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree in Business Administration is an advantage).
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in food processing equipment within a multinational organization, preferably in extrusion and food processing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, particularly in extruded products such as pasta, snacks, cereals, or pet food.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Target Regions for Sales: Middle East (14 countries including GCC, Levant, Iraq, Pakistan, and Egypt).
