Job Purpose:
The Sales Engineer will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting specialized products and services. The role requires a technical background and experience in selling laboratory instruments, reagents, and online analyzers used for measuring water quality across various industries.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients and maximize customer potential within designated regions.
  • Promote and sell laboratory instruments, reagents, and online analyzers for measuring parameters in wastewater, drinking water, power plants, and oil & gas industries.
  • Introduce new products and agencies to the company profile to expand offerings.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by regularly visiting and engaging with them.
  • Understand and anticipate customer requirements, ensuring products and services meet their expectations in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
  • Prepare client quotations, negotiate tenders, and establish contract terms that align with both client and company needs.
  • Close sales by agreeing to terms and conditions and offering after-sales support services.
  • Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
  • Generate accounts for customers in CRM systems, prepare sales quotations in ERP software, and ensure updates at every stage.
  • Prepare proforma invoices as needed and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Assist the team with managing non-moving stock and inventory.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling laboratory instruments, reagents, and online analyzers in industries such as wastewater, drinking water, power plants, and oil & gas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Strong technical understanding of water quality measurement solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.
