Job Brief:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer – Chemical Service to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment solutions, with expertise in selling water treatment chemicals and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, technical sales expertise, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying and developing sales leads for water treatment chemicals and systems.
  • Conduct market research, networking, and customer outreach to expand the client base.
  • Carry out technical presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
  • Perform site visits and surveys to assess customer requirements and clarify technical needs.
  • Collaborate with the proposal team to prepare cost sheets, proposals, and technical submittals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to close sales deals.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following up and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals within the designated market.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer interactions, and contracts using CRM systems such as Salesforce or IFS.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, engineering, procurement, logistics, and execution, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Design custom water treatment solutions, selecting appropriate equipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist in preparing pre-tender drawings and other documentation as required.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in water treatment chemicals and systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, develop sales pipelines, and close deals.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce or IFS is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
