Job Brief:The Sales & Project Engineer will assist the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales growth, marketing, and business development across the Middle East and South Asia region. The role involves technical expertise, project management, and business relationship building to support the promotion of product lines and ensure seamless project execution.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales growth, marketing, and business development initiatives.
- Promote and position the company’s product lines, including technical support to customers.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners, contractors, engineering firms, design consultants, and end-users.
- Provide support and guidance to partners in line with the company’s Partner Management Program.
- Manage projects in the upstream and downstream processes, ensuring clarity and traceability at each stage of order execution.
- Handle RFQ processes, including evaluation of technical and commercial documents.
- Prepare and submit commercial and technical proposals, including margin analysis and profitability assessments.
- Oversee costing and tender preparation for coating and fabrication works for onshore and offshore pipeline projects.
Prepare and submit technical documentation, including:
- Method Statements (application/installation procedures)
- Inspection Test Plans (ITP)
- Pre-Qualification Test (PQT) Procedures and Reports
- Site Visit Reports
- Technical Clarifications and Responses
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Reports
- Manufacturing Record Books (MRB)
Coordinate post-award activities, including:
- Pre-Qualification Testing (PQT) and related coordination.
- Training and qualification of contractor applicators.
- Coordination with contractors for site start-ups and addressing on-site commercial/technical issues.
- Post-award testing with third-party laboratories such as Exova and Lonestar.
- Prepare and update project lists, monthly reports, and track records.
- Arrange kick-off meetings for projects to ensure alignment on contractual obligations and technical expectations.
- Assist with marketing activities, including case studies, presentations, videos, and photographs.
- Collaborate with internal departments (HSE, After-Sales, Business Development, Proposal, and Technical) to meet project objectives.
