Job Scope:Leading the sales team in meeting the sales targets for selling sections of steel products to clients in various markets. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction, monitor market trends, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. Duties are carried out for the company and all its subsidiaries, associated, and connected entities.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage the sales team to ensure Annual plan and targets are achieved.
- Prepare and organize sales plans, presentations, and proposals.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries from customers.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for the senior management with customers.
- Prepare annual and monthly sales plans customer-wise with a salesperson–wise breakup for sales team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and meet customer expectations.
- Market development of given markets and segments as per the directive of Head Sales.
- Respond to customer requests and provide product or service information.
- Work with Sales Coordinator and other divisions in addressing customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and reports.
- Coordinate sales meetings and events.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics.
- Liaise between the sales team and other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics.
- Communicate with customers to gather feedback and relay information to the sales team.
- Provide customer and market information to the Senior Management on a regular basis.
- Provide the sales team with relevant data and direction to assist in decision-making.
- Any other job related to sales may be assigned by the reporting senior from time to time.
