Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with SAP expertise and a robust background in the manufacturing industry. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving efficiency in financial processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using SAP, ensuring seamless data integration and reporting.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements for compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS standards.
  • Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Analyze and optimize inventory levels in collaboration with supply chain and production teams.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Ensure VAT compliance and timely submission of VAT returns as per UAE regulations.
  • Collaborate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Propose and implement improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and IFRS standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial tools.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and cost accounting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
