Procurement & Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and negotiate vendor contracts for optimal pricing and terms.
Management of Estimators: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of estimators to enhance accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation.
Market Research (Saudi Focus): Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates within Saudi Arabia to ensure competitive and realistic cost projections.
Quantity Takeoffs & Analysis: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from engineering drawings to support cost estimation and project planning.
Project Feasibility & Bid Preparation: Evaluate project feasibility by analyzing scope, costs, and timelines, and assist in preparing competitive bid proposals.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors for accurate pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Construction Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of past and current project costs to improve cost estimation models.
Cost Control & Reporting: Track project costs, identify variances, and generate detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
Bid Submission & Prequalification: Prepare and submit bids while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Risk & Contingency Planning: Assess potential risks in cost estimation and develop contingency plans to mitigate financial impact.
Plan & Specification Analysis: Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to ensure accurate cost calculations.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify cost-related queries and ensure alignment with project goals.
Productivity & Resource Efficiency: Optimize resource allocation and workforce productivity to control costs and enhance project profitability.
Site Execution & Work Completion: Coordinate with site teams to ensure cost estimates align with on-ground execution and project completion requirements.
Job Requirements:
Must have 10 – 15 years of cost estimation experience in KSA.
A Diploma or Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering) is required.
Strong knowledge of KSA market trends, material costs, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in estimation software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience in handling large-scale contracting projects is preferred.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
