Job Brief:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment plants, including expertise in technologies such as Clarifiers, Filtration, Softeners, UV, UF, EDI, RO, DM plants, Aeration, MBBR, and MBR. This role requires strong project management, troubleshooting, and client management skills, along with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution of operations and maintenance activities.
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee project management, including material handling and installation.
- Commission and maintain various water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Troubleshoot water treatment plants to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate and manage on-site operations, ensuring safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to determine BOQ requirements for erection and commissioning.
- Manage client relationships, understanding and fulfilling their priorities and expectations.
- Conduct operational and maintenance activities for water treatment plants.
- Analyze water parameters and optimize plant performance accordingly.
- Execute projects related to Water/Wastewater/STP/TSE polishing systems.
- Install plant equipment following P&ID, Piping Layout, and Isometric Drawings.
- Raise RFIs and coordinate with consultants for approval after installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure site readiness before commencing installation activities.
- Develop process engineering strategies to support daily operations and maintenance.
- Diagnose and recommend process improvements for water treatment systems.
- Prepare method statements, checklists, and TRA for installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Generate reports, including O&M, AMC services, monthly production, chemical consumption, and water analysis.
- Conduct site surveys and provide reports with recommendations to the sales team before bidding.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including work permits and site safety rules.
- Provide technical liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Troubleshoot operational and process quality issues in cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, process water treatment, chilled water, wastewater, domestic water, and swimming pools.
- Supervise and conduct flushing work as required.
- Identify additional service requirements for clients and provide appropriate solutions.
- Commission and troubleshoot water treatment controllers and dosing systems.
- Program and interface controllers with BMS/SCADA systems.
- Possess knowledge of PLCs and Ethernet/IP address communication.
- Conduct corrosion coupon monitoring and biological control measures.
- Calibrate specialized sensors, including PTSA, fluorometers, online corrators, turbidity, and ORP sensors.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting dosing systems, including controllers, pumps, and sensors.
- Maintain schedules and reports of planned and completed work in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety equipment usage at all times.
- Provide after-sales support for water treatment chemicals and services to existing and new customers.
