Job Purpose:
Responsible for the Specification of the company’s HVAC and Building Insulation products with MEP Consultants and Project Managers and following it through with the Team eventually resulting in orders, across the African Region.

Job Responsibilities:
Specification Support:

• Work closely with architects, consultants, and other specifiers to ensure the company’s Insulation products are included in project specifications.
• Provide technical expertise on HVAC & Building insulation products to support the specification process.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue specification opportunities.
• Generate Specifications for MEP Consultants for their HVAC & Building insulation product requirements.
• Obtain technical and price approval at the appropriate level before submitting quotations and proposals.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, and specifiers in the African region.
• Act as a liaison between the company’s Insulation and key stakeholders involved in the specification process.
• Provide responsive and effective communication to address specification inquiries.
• Liaising with other company’s Divisions on HVAC & Building insulation Product Strategy

Product Knowledge:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and regulations related to the company’s HVAC & Building insulation products.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s Insulation product portfolio and effectively communicate product features and benefits to specifiers.
• Arrange and host industry seminars to highlight the company’s innovative solutions.

Training and Education:

• Develop and conduct training sessions for architects, consultants, and specifiers to enhance their understanding of the company’s Insulation products.
• Present training and CPDs to the MEP Consultants and Architects.
• Keep stakeholders informed about product updates, innovations, and best practices, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our offerings.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for the company’s Internal Sales and technical teams to enhance their understanding of the Insulation products.
