Job Purpose:This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain and procurement process to ensure efficient and seamless operations. The Supply Chain & Procurement Manager will handle demand planning, supply management, inventory control, and procurement functions, contributing to the company's strategic goals and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure smooth and timely availability of products.
- Manage demand forecasting to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize stock shortages or excesses.
- Oversee procurement operations, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management, to ensure cost-effective sourcing and high-quality supplies.
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure the availability of products while minimizing waste or overstock.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, product prices, and vendor offerings to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and logistics, to ensure alignment between demand, stock levels, and distribution.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for the foodstuff trading industry.
