Job Purpose:The Technical Manager will oversee technical operations within the joinery division, ensuring high-quality project execution, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with client specifications. This role involves managing the technical team, coordinating with project stakeholders, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity and quality.
Job Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all technical aspects of joinery projects, from planning through to execution and completion.
- Oversee project designs, ensuring they meet client specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.
- Supervise the production process to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality control, minimizing delays and optimizing resources.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure technical specifications are aligned with project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution, providing guidance and support to the technical team.
- Conduct quality inspections and enforce safety standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Develop and implement technical policies and procedures to improve production processes and maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance technical skills and knowledge within the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in joinery and incorporate them into the company’s operations.
- Prepare technical reports and project updates for senior management and clients.
